Issue with the infoobject in the query

Hi all,

I had create a query with "Doc number" info object in it. earlier its working fine. but we got a change request for the "Doc number" n v implated the changes and when i run d query with Doc number its displacing " No data found". does i need to do any changes. I think the modification which v hav done is impacting the query Another important thing is v able to see the data in the relevant multiprovider.

Thanks and Regards

KK

    Hi KK,

Try removing that info object from the query definition and again insert that.

    This may solves ur problem.

    Hi ,

I guess you need to prefix some zeroes to document number..

e.g. for length 10 and document number 123 type down 0000000123. This is only in case the conversion exit "ALPHA" is not activated inthe info object level.

    Hope it helps.

    Hi,

First what change u made? Either multi provider level or query level?

R u filtering any thing at the level of query? If yes, then remove the filters and try. If no, check any conditions are there in the query.

There are all the only possibilities to suppress the records.

If still no clue, try to create new report under the existing info provider and check.

      Hi,

Infoobjects which are common to all the infoproviders should be put inthe filter . Other info objects which may not be common to all info provider should be put in the restricted key figures.

I think document number is not common across all the info providers which is why you are not seeing any results. In order to see document number as well in the query make sure that it is available in all the providers.

      Hope it helps.

      Regards
