Hello All
Am having a little concern regarding the number range for Work Center, kindly let me know where the number range for Work Center is maintained or from where it is picked up when we are using external no range assignment for Work Centers.

J K Tharwani
Hi
i think u r talking about the ob ject id
This number is only used internally but the system displays it within
matchcode selection for technical reasons. You do not have to make an
entry. as externally

Hi Jitendra
As such there is no setting available for number range for WC's. You can create WC with any combinations of number / alphabets etc as per your requirement
You can also refer to SAP Note # 352485 viz WC Consulting Note & it does not specify about number range for WC
Anyways let other also comment b'cos i could not find any such setting for number range

Hi Jitender,
T. Code: SNRO.
Put your Object CATT APLAT
Press: F7 (Numcer Range)
In the next screen press "Change Intervals"
Here you can maintain the new number range..
But I do not have any Idea on how it works and what it does...
Please inform me indetail about your requiremnt and afterwards the success story as well..

Siva
J K Tharwani,
CR_ARBPL is the number range object for Workcenter. You are allowed to maintain only numerical number range.
I have never come across a situation to maintain a number range for Workcenter, as generally it will be an external number range.
You can have look at this object in transaction SNUM.

Thanks Sir for your reply,
Actually the requirement is the client want that Equipment number must be the same as the Work Center Code, and Work Center code which i have decided is something like 0101001 & if i give the external no to the Equipment then the system doesnt take the same number instead it takes 101001 i.e. it ignores the initial "0" in the work center code. Actually I wanted to see the no range from where the work center numbering is being picked up, but later on i came to know that there is no such no range setting for work center instead it has contol from no range for object type. Shall look forward to your valuable inputs & guidance.

J K Tharwani
