Error in pa40 & Work schedules

Dear all,

Kindly help me out to solve the error......

1)Thread in pa40, while hiring an applicant..

(error message showing: position is not available for the start date of the infotype record.

Diagnosis: The position is available in the position table (t528b), but not for the start date of the infotype record.

System Response: An Organisational assignment for this position is not possible for the choosen date.

Procedure: Please check the validity period of the position and the personnel action.

2) Thread in creating work schedule rules and work schedules...

(Error message showing: Entry SEC 50 does not exist in t508a).

But the entry is avalable in the table t508a.

I have tried to solve but im unable to do. kindly help me out to solve this....

Hi Padma sree,

Comming to your first questio i think you can over lap the position by giving the date of your info type record.

Hi Mr Vinod,

Tnx for ur time, what u said is correct. the position date is overlaping.

i have created organisational structure in the year of 01.01.2008 and position also in the same date, but it automatically taking 01.04.2008.

And changed position date in the table (v_528b_c), but unable change in simple maintanance. Now let me know how to solve this.

Hi

Check ur position (object) start date in HRP1000.

Check ur ES grping, PS grping, and the Holiday calendar ID are corrrect entries for ur WSR....
