Add two fields to existing Quotation reports

Hi All.

I have a requirement where I need to add two new fields to existing quotation report. These are

1. Quotation Creation Date

2. Customer Expected Delivery Date

Please let me know how to proceed on this.

Hi,

First check the fields which u want to add to the report r existing in the infoprovider on which u r building query.if its existing then u can add in the report if not u have to add in the infoprovider and need to think to which we have to map.

is this the one u want to know.

If you only know the r/3 fields, then check in the extraction structure, whether its used or not. then to the transfer rule and update rule and then the cube..like that you have travel...and find till where the field is pulled and have to find from there what more you need to do to get report..

Thanks for the reply.

I searched for mapping of this fields in R/3. I guess in VBAK table ERDAT and VDATU can be used for this, if VBTYPE is maintained as 'B' as it stands for quotation.

Are this mapping correct for the required fields?

Hi,

First check u r extract structure whether corresponding date fields r there r not.if its there then no issues.if its not then u need to take from communication pool if its thre r u have to enhance tghe field.
