Error Occured evertym pressing ADD button

Hi,

we encounter this error everytime we press add button on any module

"microsoft(odbc sql server driver)(dbnetlib)connection write (sewsy)(send(). 2) microsoft(odbc sql server driver)(dbnetlib) general network error. Check your network documentation"

Anybody has an idea what is the cause of the errror.

    Hi Christian,

    never heard of exactly this error but to me it sounds as if the SQL user with which you connect to B1 might miss some critical permission. Your SQL user needs roles public and dbowner. The error message could mean that your SQL user only has roles like public and datareader, maybe even role denydatawriter. So I suggest you check out authorizations within SQL.

    (Talking of roles within SQL 2000, not sure how this would translate to SQL 2005)
