MM03- Accounting view - Total stock value incorrect

Hi MM Gurus,

In accounting of material master for a material total stock value shown incorrect. (Only decimal differences).

Material is Std price valuated.

Total stock value = Std Price X Stock Qty.

When we calculate the Total value = 3027.76 Euros.

But in system (accounting of material master for a material ) it is shown as 3027.72. There is a defference of -0.04. How to fix this difference.

For this material no revaluation or chnage in price is done. But there might be some rounding off error causing this difference. How to fix this,which transaction is updating this "Total value" in accounting-1 view of material master.

please help me.

Go to MR51 & check the Accounting documents for that Material.

It also depends on the rounding profile you have maintained. Check the same.

To configure the Rounding profile the IMG Settings is

IMGLogistics generalQuantity Optimizing and Allowed Logistics Units of Measure

here first

Maintain Rounding Profile

Unit of Measure Groups

Unit of Measure Rounding Rules

Then in Material Master,

Maintain in additional data --Unit of measure.(Eg-1Kg = 1000EA.)

In MRP1 view Maintain the rounding value

The rounding of UOM will depend upon the rounding profile such as statistic,dynamic etc.
