Retained earning account is not supported to company code Nano

Hi experts

pls solve my problem .

company code: Nano

FSV : 2007-2008

OB52: all periods r open for 2007-2008

OB53 : retained a/c is there

now my requirement is

asset acquired and captured on 04-03-2008

i need to do dep run for the month of march 2007-2008 financial year

i did't do any dep run previously for any asset, this is first dep run for financial year 2007-2008 ,

just i acquired one asset on 04-03-2008,

ok,

when i do dep run in unplanned by test run , i got an error as like

" Retained account 11001 is not supported to company code Nano"

how to solve it

hi,

Whatever Retained earnings account u r defining in 'Define Retained Earnings Account;i.e. 110001 .

Create the Assigned Account (Same i.e. 110001)in FS00.

Then U can aquire/do the activity in Asset accounting.

This will solve ur problem.

hi it doesnt give clear picture of what is really happening on ur side but as per the message

the retain earnings A/c is in some Chartof accs

check is this chart of accs is attached to comp code a

and why is this asset depreciation calling this a/c

it shoud be the depreciation a/c or the accumulated dep ac that would get hit.

check for the AO90 settings on asset side for that asset

hope this would give you atleast a direction to investigate on it.
