Add SSL certificate for FTP connection

Hi Gurus,

we have to import a SLL ceritificat for the FTP server in the visual administrator. We received from the network team the *.cer file which should be the certificate.

We are now traying to add this certificat to the KEYSTORAGE in the VA, but we can not add this file.

Can someone explain to me how we can add this certificate? Is this ceritificate with .cer the right one, or do we need something else?

I read in the config guide, that we need to have a *.p8 and a *.cer file, but we only got the *.cer file....

THX for your support!!!

Regards

Markus

This certificate is the server's certificate, right?

You need to extract it's certificate chain (open the certificate in windows to see it) and import these certificates from the chain in the TrustedCAs view of the KeyStorage (use the 'Load' button for the Entry).

    Regards,

    Henrique.
