EHS: Substance Volume Tracking Help

Hi experts,

We are implementing SVT and we have the following issue:

- We define the IMPORT and PRODUCTION scenarios

- We specified Standard Composition (SAP_EHS_1012_003) as the Value Assignment Type for taking substance composition

For example, the Standard Composition for SUBSTANCE1 is

COMPONENT 1: 90 %

COMPONENT 2: 10%

Usage Active

Rating PUBLIC

Validity Area REG_WORLD

- When we initially run the report RREGCH_FILL a warning message is displayed saying:

"Determination of component for substances SUBSTANCE"

"Composition value of component COMPONENT 1 is zero"

even though the composition is entered

This way tha table CCRCT_EHS_COMP is not populated properly and we cannot proceed with SVT

Can you please help me? Any idea will be valuable?

Hi Alberto,

Do you have multiple sort sequences for the standard composition SAP_EHS_1012_003 -- and if so, are they active and what usages do they have assigned.

Do you have an exact value maintained - or ranges? Did you maintain % or PPM PPB or PPT?

Are you using change numbers

Keep in mind that in SVT you can set up the usage for reading the composition data per regulation.

Hi Markus,

We have only one instance of the Standard Composition, and it is active PUBLIC / REG_WORLD

Also, in the Composition the values are exact and in %.

Regarding change numbers where are not using them for the moment, but will it have any implication?

Hi Expert,

How can I specify a dangerous substance into SVT?

I create a DG Classificatión (Dangerous Component of a Sustance), I create one Substance with diferents compositions (DG Classification) and this substance join or assigned a Material in Header level, this Material It was cheked like a Relevant for SVT, GPP (Database2) and into Clasification master view put class: "Z_SAP_EHS_SVT" and Den.Charact: "SAP_EHS_SVT_RELEVANT", but......the system not recognize the Substance, only recognize a Material and worse It's imposible work with SVT.

Do you have any idea, what issue I don't know or maby my mistake?

Finally we have found the reason why this wasnt working

In the SPRO a UoM which we werent aware of was missing:

Dimension: PROPOR

UoM: 1

Text: ONE

Bueno, revise y tenia estos parametros de dimensión bien.

Descubrí que la carga de las notas para SVT, se habían cargado mal; por cuanto las volví a cargar y felizmente ahora obtengo reportes de SVT.
