Hello,
I am currently trying to integrate standard IS-U GUI transactions (T-codes) from a technical backend catalog into my Fiori Launchpad with an embedded system setup on S4 Hana 1709.
All needed backend TC's are listes under SM30 -> /UI2/V_ALIASCAT with the alias 'S4ISU'.
When I run /UI2/GET_APP_DESCR_REMOTE_DEV for those TC's I get the message that all catalogs are up to date.
In PFCG however, these catalogs do not appear and are also not visible in the Launchpad Designer. Only *_TC_*_COMMON catalogs can be selected.
Do I need to create copied catalogs from these backend TC's or import them into existing catalogs?
Am I missing some RFC configurations? To me it is not quite clear how this is to be done for an embedded scenario as most guides assume hub deployment.
Hope you can help,
Marvin
The picture shows running in testmode....im hoping you turned off testmode and then ran it? It doesnt sync until you uncheck the box!

Hello Marvin,
Can you paste the output when you run report /UI2/GET_APP_DESCR_REMOTE_DEV
ALIAS_RFC is the destination which the program will look for.
Even in case of HUB deployment, this may not change so you must create an RFC with name ALIAS_RFC pointing to the same system as you have embedded scenario
Once you have the RFC in place, try running the program again in test mode and see the output.
Regards
Aditya

Hello Aditya,
I have created a RFC-connection called S4ISU_RFC and have linked the alias S4ISU to the RCF connection. Remote login is successful.
When I run the report for BE catalog APP2TC I get this report :
The TC_BE catalog is still not showing under authorizations for neither, local or remote RFC.
Thank you,
Marvin
