Install Query Designer and WAD with the trial vers... - SAP Community

Is it possible to install the Query Designer and the Web application designer with one of the trial version (ABAP or Java)?

It doesn't work, even if i add the Bex Analyser in Excel;

It is not installed (no registry).

Is a trial package for WAD and Query designer so?

Hello Arnaud,

the QueryDesigner, the BExAnalyzer and the WAD are parts of the SAP GUI for Windows (6.4 and 7.1) Installation and call BW/BI AddOns. You can Choose this Parts during the installationprocess of the SAP GUI or add them later by recall the installation exe.

You can use the QueryDesigner and the WAD, but only the 3.x Version not the BI (7.x) AddOn, with the ABAP Testdrive. For using the BI AddOn you need the ABAP and Java Stack!

as far as I can remember, are the BW AddOn not include in the SAP GUI Pack from the SDN ABAP Test drive Download - so please use SAP GUI presantation DVD.
