CCA and PCA retraction in Integrated Planning

Hi all,

Please I need some orientation about CCA an PCA retraction when you are using Integrated planning.

I read blogs about CCA retraction (made by Praveen Mayalur) and was very helpfull, but it only refers a planning scenario using BW-BPS, and I don't have the same structure to send the data in the integrated planning.

I had looked in SDN and SAP portal, and I can't find anything about it.

Hi,

You can utilize BPS to run the CCA retraction to your ECC system. You just create a planning area on your IP planning cube and follow the instructions in the Blog.

PCA retraction is more complicated. There are function modules similar to the CCA retraction in BI. However the coorespoinding programs are not in ECC. In order to get these you must use SAP remote consulting and have them installed in your system

I have another question: about the programs in ECC wich are used to load data, I know there is a BAPIS that allow you to post data of CCA into ECC (BAPI_COSTACTPLN_POSTPRIMCOST, BAPI_COSTACTPLN_POSTACTOUTPUT) when you don't have standar retractors, when you talk about the programs do you refer to those BAPIS??

Then yes, I was looking in ECC and there is no BAPIS to post data to PCA tables, then you say we must to develope that BAPI? or we have to ask to SAP for them??

Hi

1) Retraction are driven by BPS, IP is not equipped with Retraction.

2) Cost Center & Internal Order Retraction should be configured through in BPS--> Planning Area; Planning Level, Planning Function; Parameter Group.

3) You need to configure Source Structure, based on business requirement you need to ensure that the retraction happens either in CO Currency or Transaction Currency.

4) Try to use the SAP Standard Function Modules for Cost Center and Internal Order Retraction. Refrain from copying & modifying the same.

go through the Cost Center Retraction relevant documents and they are very helpful.

5) Function Modules for Profit Center Retraction are not available in ECC due to the New GL Concept.

6) If possible advise the Business to use "File Upload" for Profit Center Data.

Thanks to all, I'm clear now.

I will contact to OSS SAP for the problem of PCA, and for CCA, I will develope with the old way in BW/BPS.

Hi,

Retraction is not supported by Integrated planning. We should make use of BPS to go with retraction.
