Work Center Category

Hi Gurus,

I have defined work center categories OP40.

But the category which I have defined here are not occuring in in the CR01 screen where we assign work center category.

But in all the searching screens i am getting these categories.

The error message I am getting is

Setting: Work center category 0005 does not exist (see long text)

Message no. CR068

Diagnosis

You are attempting to work with a work center with the category 0005. This work center category was deleted in customizing. Therefore you can no longer work with this work center.

Procedure

Either delete the work centers that have the category 0005

or set up the work center category 0005 in customizing again.

But I have not deleted or added any workcenter category in Customisation.

And If i delete and create the categories also this is not appearing in CR01 Screen.

Hi,

pls try .

In OP40 , after creating the Work center category say.0005 , select the Category and choose application.

Here , you have to add the application .say P - Routings .

Then only , the particular WC category say.0005 will appear in CR01.

I have tried this without creating the application first ie, the WC category alone and in CR01 I faced the similar problem.

After creating the application for the WC cat , its working fine.

Hi

Please assign your work center category 005 to the application which is in OP40 (below wok center center category).

Application is for which Task list type...Like C Recipes, P Routings, R Repetetive manufacturing..
