(Non) Case-sensitive search

we see in our web reports that, when searching on filtered value, sometimes we can search based on (non)case-sensitive values and sometimes we can't - depending on the infoobjecct.

filter on 'ams' for infoobject A we get all 'ams' and 'AMS' relevant values; for infobject B we only get all 'ams'.

What does drive this? Is there a setting we can apply for every infoobject?

Many thanks.

in the infoobject's property Lowercase Letters is checked it will distinguishes lowercase letters from Upper case letters. If htis prperty is unchecked it maynot distinguish them

It may be the reason for ur infoobjects behaviour.

First u check whether ur B object contains both data 'AMS' and 'ams'. If it is available then activate the master data then check it out.
