    Hi Guna,

Sub-operation in an operation is used to plan that process step more clearly.

For example If you want to perform operation threading to a steel bar (suppose it includes threading, deburring and oiling activities),you can define the threading as operation and all mentioned activities as sub operations.

We can assign different workcenters to sub operations.

A sub operation can be costed, but can only be scheduled relative to the operation. You can cumulate standard values from sub operations on the corresponding operation.

    Regards.

      Hi Guna,

Sub operation confirmations also can be done through CO11N T-Code.In the initial screen give operation number as well as sub operation number and do confirm.

Once you started doing confirmations at sub operation level system will show the status SCNF (sub operation finally confirmed)at operation level and at header level it will show partially confrmed(PCNF).After completing all sub operations confirmation do at operation level. After doing at operation level, system shows CNF status at header level.

      Regards.
