Automatic Report Capturing use in SAP

Since we started upgrading to Oracle 12c, we've seen high CPU use in the MMON_SLAVE modules. These are associated with Oracle's new Automatic Report Capturing functionality. The functionality can be turned off by setting _report_capture_cycle_time = 0. But before turning it off in production, we'd like to know if SAP needs or uses Automatic Report Capturing in any way. Would anyone have any experience with this functionality in the context of Sap?
