Attachments could not open in Android Devices for Work Manager 6.4

Dear Team,

We are working on Work Manager 6.4, SMP 3.0 SP12.

For testing the applications we are using Windows and Android devices.

Windows : Windows 10, Windows 7 laptop and desktops , 64 bit

Android : Samsung galaxy tab : Android version: 5.1.1

Sony Xperia : Android version : 7.0

In Windows laptop/desktop we are NOT facing any issues.

In Android devices we are facing issues while opening the attachment in the mobile device. The images are opening properly but the attachments like pdf, xls, doc, txt are not opening.

I have already installed various pdf viewer like Adobe Reader, Polaris office etc but still the documents except the images are not opening in the mobile devices.

and SAP note : 2236789_E_Attachments not opening,

Hence based on these, I implemented the "External Document Launcher" , below is the process I followed:

1. Installed the External Document Launcher in the device
2. Implemented the Open URL step in the action DocumentLinkviewDocument
3. Deployed and tested the application in the Android device
4. When clicked on the image it invokes the "External Document Launcher" but then could not open the attachment

If anyone has faced this issue and has found a solution also, Request you to please help and suggest.
