Error messages remain in FPM-FBI

Hello,

we are making several FPM-FBI applications and always face the same problem.

For some reason all message raised by the BO don't disappear even when the problems are solved. When testing the same scenario in test-transaction BOPT it works perfectly: when having an error and subsequently solving it, all messages disappear as expected. We build this according to the blog https://blogs.sap.com/2013/09/12/message-handling-in-bopf/ of Oliver Jaegle.

When doing the same in FPM-FBI all messages ever raised keep on appearing on the screen.

I suppose there is a way to handle this, but we don't find the solution.

Can anyone help us with this?

Thanks a lot.

    When creating a message (e.g. in a validation) you can define the lifetime of the message. Which value do you use there?

    SC_LIFETIME_SET_BY_BOPF should be ok.

    Did you check, after fixing the problems, there was a new roundtrip which did trigger the validations again?

    Hi Christian,

    we set it to SC_LIFETIME_SET_BY_BOPF .

    constants SC_LIFETIME_SET_BY_BOPF type /BOBF/CM_FRW=>TY_MESSAGE_LIFETIME value 0 ##NO_TEXT.

    We already tried some others, but no real result.

    If you have a hint, we will be glad to try.

    Kris
