PTARQ: Post documents

Hi Experts,

The Leave requests are getting dedcued from Leave Quotas only after posting documents in PTARQ t-code processing options.

Since I am new to ESS, wanted to clarify few things.

1) Is this the only menthod to update Absence quotas or is there any other way

2) Is there a way to update this automatically as end-users will not be able to run this every day.

Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

Please find below the answers to your questions.

    1. In an organization many users apply for leave every day. The Program RPTARQPOST is scheduled to run everyday at a regular interval. Running this report will capture all the requests pending from last run. End user need not to post the document manually.

    2. The leave requests can be applied and updated by using transaction PA30, but the end user will not have access. Only HR admin person can use this facility. Here manual running the Post program is not needed.

Pls feel free to revert in case you have any question.

    Regards,

    Anupam
