custom handler class in ICF tree gives response 404 Not Found

26 Views

Hello,

I would like to implement my own handler class. But even the simplest form doesn't work.

1. Created a class ZCL_HANDLER that implements interface IF_HTTP_EXTENSION.

2. Added the following source to method IF_HTTP_EXTENSION~HANDLE_REQUEST:

if_http_extension~flow_rc = if_http_extension=>co_flow_ok.

server->response->set_status( code = 200 reason = 'OK' ).

server->response->set_cdata( '<html><body>Hello World!</body></html>' ).

3. activated the class

4. added the node my with subnode images to the ICF tree, direct under root node default_host.

5. added handler class ZCL_HANDLER to subnode images

6. After activating node my and subnode images I expected a response with Hello World! but got a 404 Not Found instead.

Can anybody tell me what the problem might be.

I'm working on a ECC6.0 machine on which BSP and WD4A applications do work.

best regards,
