Hi,
I'm currently struggeling creating templates for simplifying document/Application development. According to the help entries, this should be possible but unfortunately the menu structure ist diferring from what I see in 2.0, i.e., there is no "Application -> Export".
I can easily create an application from a template but what is the way to provide/produce such a customized and UI-tailored template?
In the past (Design Studio) one could easily export an application to a folder and included that folder as template folder.
Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
Yann
Hi Yann-Rudolf,
Firstly your point "Application > Export" doesn't exist in menu items! I was thinking same while reading Lumira Designer help. I have encountered the same in different places of the Help. I had been confused and I understand right now that these refer to other Legacy startup modes not new SAP BusinessObjects Lumira Documents startup mode!
Secondly about the template there is already a discussion here you can take a look into: Create Template Report - Lumira Designer 2.0

Hi Tammy,
I see your point but the main problem with this approach is not having the composites available that are provided and maintained centrally and should be used throughout the landscace.

Yann
