Intercompany Sales

Hi all,

My client would like to add new accounts or rules for the Intercompany sales accounts. What are "Intercompany sales accounts"? I can understand the concept of Intercompany Sales but couldnt understand what could be the accounts for Intercompany sales.

If I undertand your question correctly.

Your client wanted to identify the intercompnay sales in a seperate GL account instead of using the same GL account used to record the external sales.

This may be required to track the sales to external customer vis a vis the internal customer which can be a different company code but belonging to the same group or subsidiary.

All that you have to do is to create a new GL account for intercompany sales and assign that to account determination to record sales within the group.
