Application Parameters: DimsForFactTblIndex

Does anyone have any experience with updating the DimsForFactTblIndex application parameter? Our's is currently null, which is presumably the default.

According to the admin guide, the default index is Category, Time, Entity, Account, RptCurrency. I'd like to add another (user) dimension but can't find much on this setting.

Actually, those name is not a real dimension name, it is an order like C type(Category), T type(Time), E type(Entity), A type(Account), R type (Currency).

Using this order, index will be distinctive so Index efficiency will be good.

But sometimes user wants to set their custom order so BPC provides DimsForFactTblIndex parameter to provide dimension names for making index.

Please be careful to use this parameter because performance will be affected a lot if you set it wrong.
