Help on e-Recruiting with Countries

Hi experts,

this is my first message on this forum, but I use to read it to learn more about SAP.

I´ve been looking for any information but I haven´t found the solution for my problem.

The problem is that in e-Recruiting there´s a list of countries in some BSP´s that we want to increase. For example, when an external candidate is looking for a job oportunity, he can search by "Industry", "Functional Area", "Salary Range", etc. But there is a field called "Country" that only has got one entrie, and we want to add more countries because our client has got job oportunities in much countries.

Thank you for yor help

    Hello Julio,

the country list for the job search is not directly retrieved from table T005 like the country list in address maintainance. The system shows the countries you have branches in,

So if you add a new branch via the administrator start page for another country this country should appear in the country list, too. It makes no sense to show all 200+ countries if you only operate in 2 or 3 of them that's why it is restricted.

    Best regards

      Hi Roman,

thank you for your explanation, but that was what I tried before asking here because I supossed it should be via branches, and as you said, It makes no sense to have hundreds of countries on the country list.

I did it and it doesn´t work. After that, I´ve generated again search profiles and URL´s but nothing happens. Now, I´ve seen too many errors on SLG1, and I think it´s a program error on a class. I will ask SAP Support.

When this problem is solved, I will write again telling the explanation and solution.

      Thank you again, Roman.
