select statement

SELECT MIN( field )

FROM table

INTO wa_ygvabbv_30_new

WHERE yygdebitor = wa_veda-yygdebitor AND

yygvertrnr = wa_veda-yygvertrnr AND

yygnachtnr = wa_veda-yygnachtnr AND

yygvertpos IN r1_vertpos.

works fine but what should i write if i want to select 2 fields?

please help

    Hi Bhanu,

    try this

    tables : mara.
    
    data : v_matnr like mara-matnr,
           v_laeda like mara-laeda.
           
    select min( matnr )  max( laeda ) into (v_matnr , v_laeda) from mara.

      then performance wise i think i will select all the records 1st then
