Design studio error: Most likely your session is not valid anymore

Hi All,

We are using design studio dashboard (version 1.6 SP4 patch 1) over Hana views.

While working with the design studio application, we receive the following error: "Please restart the application, Most likely your session is not valid anymore".

The problem occurs when connecting to the Tomcat using F5 and WAF, and does not occurs when connect directly to the Tomcat.

Also, it does not occur when using InPrivate browsing mode.

There are no error in error log of the BO, Tomcat, F5 and WAF servers.

User login mode Single Sign On to the BO and SAML between BO and HANA.

Looking in https://archive.sap.com/discussions/thread/3687191 - we have no clusters in the BO or Tomcat servers.

Any ideas where to look?

I am experiencing the same messages, but on a dashboard over BW queries. Were you able to determine the underlying cause?

Hi,

We are using IE as client viewer, adding the BO server to compatibility view solve the problem
