Restrict second user to login?

Hi all!

is it possible to resrict a second user to login with the same user name & Pwd of the first user Logged in?

We need to restrict such second login.. plz help me with a solution.

    Thk u both of u! but can we achieve tht via any stored procedure, n will SBO allow tht? if so kindly help me with the procedure.

    Dear Shiva,

    SAP B1 is a named user. If two users use one licensed professional user, both can be used SAP B1 and even both use same user code and password. I think we can't restrict it.

    By design SAP B1 permits two instances for one user login. Therefore the same user/ password will be permitted to login on 2 clients at the same time.

    I do not think this can be changed.
