SpecifyingEditing Standard SAP Netweaver Browser Caption

I want to modify standard SAP NetWeaver Browser Caption. I read http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/6a/f72f1c9539420ebee0b8734110aaac/content.htm, but cannot find this attribute within the Default Framework Page (our active framework page on Sandbox).

Hi James,

Go to System Administration->System Configuration. At the Detailed Navigation area you can find Service Configuration, click it.

Then you can see Portal Runtime at the portal content area. Open that folder and open the Central Configuration under it.

At the right hand configuration side you can find "portal.html.head.title", enter the desired value at text box provided.

Thanks for your response. I made the changes under service configuration and entered my value on portal.html.head.title.

Logged off, and deleted Temporary Internet Files, opened a new browser, logged into portal, and changes were not activated. It still displalyed SAP NetWevaer Portal.

You must restart the system for the changes to be active..
