FI COPA transfer structure Urgent

Hi Gurus,

I really need your help. Can any one please tell me about the FI- COPA transfer structure please.

Do I have to assign each and every cost element that I have in my COA ? ? How does the transfer structure works ? Do all my revenue and costs have to be assigned to a value field ?

Please help .. I will assign all points

FI-COPA transfer structure is very complicated and you need to do this very carefully. As you might know that this is one of the methods of posting into COPA anything that is posted in FI. But it is not neccesary that every cost element is customized here. Usually only those are customized that have clear definition e.g. PPV, Cost of Sales etc.

You have to balance this approach with other ways information is flowing into COPA like assessment cycles and settlement. So even though all P&L accounts in FI must have a corresponding entry in COPA, you dont customize all of them in the Transfer structure. I would suggest to make a list of all cost elements and figure out how you want them to be posted in COPA. Again this is a long and complicated process.

I have already assigned PPV for E1 and

FI has COGS and Even manual revenue adjustment to the value fields but not sure as how to assign the remaining cost elements.

There is Sales Manual adjustment. How do I assign that ?.. Do I have to assign all the remaining cost elements with category "11" revenue to ERLOS ?

Is there any documentation on this apart from TOP Jobs config doc ?

FI COPA Transfer structure means it will enable you to see expenses incurred in

Finanacial Accounting to see in COPA via FI-COPA Transfer structure.

So Do I have to assign each and every revenue item ? Cost element with Category 11 .. Should all of these MUST flow into COPA ?

FI Copa Structure enables you to see your expenses incurred in Financial Accounting has been transferred to COPA FI-COPA Structure to see them in COPA.
