I have a question about journal entries entered in a scope.
Let's use a scenario :
The Scope S01 is the highest parent. Child of S01 is S02. Child of S02 is S03.
When I want to post a journal entry in S03 consolidated data of a specific entity, I will use Audit_trail ADJ_ELI_M (manual elimination entries as in the starter kit IFRS), currency EUR (group currency), Scope S03 and the specific entity. Scope S_NONE cannot be used as it will change local data.
Until now, it is fine. However, When I run a consolidation package on scope S02, All the journal entries in S03 are not copied. Obviously, the same issue will appear for S01.
What can be done to automatically copy these journal postings in the corresponding scope ? Ideally, when running a consolidation package on S01 for instance, all the journal entries on S02 and S03 are copied into S01.
Customer does not want to use "Copy to" functionality as their consolidation perimeter is really big and will waste too much time to do this.
I have tried to use "Elimination and adjustment" business rules as the following :
While ZALL multiplier has entity method : 10,20,30//intco method : 99//Group formula : 1.
10=holding//20=full//30=equity method.
ADJ_ELI_SCOPE is M audit type, N to IS_CONSO and N to IS_CONVERTED.
ADJ_ELI_M has Y to IS_CONSO and G to IS_CONVERTED and is removed from audit trail hierarchy and records data in S_NONE. When launching a consolidation package, the business rule COPY_ADJ would simply copy those data into ADJ_ELI_SCOPE in the right Scope.
This unfortunately doesn't work as it will only copy holding company data.
Is there a viable solution in this case ? Or maybe I am searching too far for this...
