Currency Translation Type with Variable time reference

Hi,

I am using BW 3.5. I have created a currency translation type with variable target currency.

Q #1. If I give fixed time reference I am getting the currency translation type that I defined in the query definition (I could see it in the properties of the KF in query designer). If I give variable time reference with special object like 0CALMONTH(Start of the month), I am not getting the currency translation type in the query designer. Basically I want it to automatically take the current month start date. Say the current date is 04.08.2008. I want the time reference to be 04.01.2008.

I don't have 0CALMONTH in my query/InfoProvider. Is it mandatory that I should have 0CALMONTH in my Query or InfoProvider?

Can anybody please help me?

Q #2. I have around 10 selection parameters (Restricting characteristics with variables) for my query. I am aware that I can change the sequence of the variables in query properties. I wanted variable for target currency to appear as 8th selection parameter. This particular variable doesn't come in the query properties in the query designer. I am using the same currency translation type in various queries & the variale for target currency appears in differnt place in different queries. Is there any way to bring variable for target currency in sequence? Appreciate your help.
