SAP Dialog Instance Profile is not Active

Hi All,

We are running with SAP ECC 6.0 On Oracle 10 Windows 2003

We have 0ne Central Instance an two Dialog Instances, one of the Dialog Instance is having problems with his instance profile if you want to display or change it:

RZ10 -> Select The Dialog Instance Profile -> Click on Extended maintenance -> Display Button

Server NAME_OF_SERVER is not active - action cannot be executed

On the other side, if you try with the SM51 transaction you will see the three instances, all with his server status active. in fact users can login into this server.

Please Some Tips!

Best Regards,

Erick ILarraza

Do the servers use a central profile directory? Do they all have the parameter rdisp/mshost set?

Hi Markus,

We have this configuration:

1 Default Profile

3 Start Profile (Each Instance has One Start Profile)

3 Instance Profile (Each Instance has One Instance Profile)

In the Default Profile we have the rdisp/mshost set to the name of the central instance server.
