Hi,

I developed an own UI5-application. And I want to suggest some extension points to the customer, so I defined some in the views and one ControllerHook, as in https://sapui5.hana.ondemand.com/sdk/#/topic/8fbf4e728bd146fcb2053aeb6ca741f9 described. But the point "controller" at extensibility pane is empty.

Where is the error?

Regards,

Phil

Hi Phil,

All the views, controllers and fragments are listed in the project.json file (your project descriptor file for SAP Web IDE) when creating an extension project.

If you don't see your controllers in the exteisibility pane there was probably a problem listing them into this file during extension project generation.

For testing this theory - you can edit the file manually and add them (in a similar way to how the views are listed) - and then you are expected to see those in the extensibility pane.

For analyzing what caused the issue I suggest you to open a support ticket (to CA-WDE-EXT component) and attach the original and the extension projects there.

P.S - when you add extension hooks to a controller in your SAPUI5 application - make sure to use the 'extHook' prefix in each extension hook method name. As this is the only way the SAP Web IDE extensibility tools can automatically identify and display them.

Thanks,

Rotem
