Problem in configuring scenario

Former Member

Dear All,

I am working on one scenario in which I am having two different files File1 & File2 in one FTP folder. Once the File1 has been picked and sent to RFC1 and is posted into R/3 then RFC1 will return one message as Y or N. If RFC1 returns Y then File2 should be picked and should be posted into R/3 by RFC2.

I am able to pick the first file but I am not able to make configurations for the second file.

Please suggest.

Regards,

N.Jain

Hi Nishu,

you have to use BPM for your this scenario because without BPM your above scenario is not feasible............

when you will be using BPM, then after the send step of RFC1 you can have a receve step for file2 in your BPM and then you will be able to send it to RFC2 by having another send step in your BPM process.

Hi Rajeev,

thanks for your reply. Actually duuring the second receive step I am getting one tab as Correlation. I am not able to specify any value ther as I am having not much knowledge of Correlation. I have seen blog posted on SDN on correlation but it has not given on how to use it ie where and how to specify the correlation values.

If you have anything on correlation then please share with me.

Thanks,

Hi Nishu,

For defining correlation, just go to correalation editor, give an entry for correlation name and press enter.............then take your file structures and define the correlation condition between them..............
