Connection from R3(as sender) to XI

Dear Experts,

i want to use the APAB Proxy

the xi guy needs to use R3 system as sender , so he asked me to make the connection between the R3 system and XI

i found this blog

i did the steps except the steps related to the J2ee, coz i confiused.

my R3 system is ABAP only and my XI system based on ABAP and J2EE

so how can i do the J2EE part (as per the blog) in my R3 system (which is based on ABAP only)

please help me

Hi ,

j2ee part can be done as below

1. On your Integration Server host, start the J2EE Engine Visual Administrator.

2. Choose Cluster u00AE Server u00AE Services u00AE JCo RFC Provider.

To start To start the Visual Administrator, perform the following:

&#9679; On UNIX platforms, enter on the command line /usr/sap/<SAPSID>/<Instance_Name>/j2ee/admin/go.sh

&#9679; On Windows platforms, run <Drive>:\usr\sap\<SAPSID>\<Instance_Name>\j2ee\admin\go.bat

Hi,

the steps mentioned below the heading : Configuration of the Integration Engine

3. Connection between Business System and System Landscape Directory

will be performed on XI server......................so just log on to XI server and perform the steps in the above heading with the help of your XI basis team.

I have implemented all the steps , but still the scenario is not working

Abap Client Proxy to file is not working

Have u generated the proxy for that message interface?

have u written the report and called the method of the proxy?

Above steps is required for proxy configuration.

refer the below weblog for client proxy:
