2 Oracle instances on one Windows host

Hi all!

Can anybody help me with some questions?

1) Must I correct oracle files (which files?) before installing new instance on the same host?

2) Must I change permissions for users (sap and oracle) for some objects (which objects)?

3) Must I change registry in oracle node?

4) Any additional advices?

Thanks for your attention

BR,

Artem

1. please avoid double posts and ask your question in just one forum.

2. carefully read the section multiple oracle homes in the installation guide

Hi!

I have installed Rapid Installer SP14 (first what I saw on service.sap.com/swdc). Is this installation enough for test 2 Oracle on one Windows? I think yes, because some db export has been executed. Am I right?

After reboot both of my instances standing by.

What else can I test?

P.S. ABAP was not installed, only Java (my fault)

BR,

Artem
