Month end and year end process

Dear gurus,

I know some of the month end and year end processes. Who will done this process?

Is there any seperate tool to done this processes automatically? Is there any difference to run this process client to client. Pls clarify my doubts.

Hi ,

this depends on client to client . if a client is having own team then they will be doing it. if a client has outsourced the entire work then they will be performing it. if the client is a small company , concerned power users will be doing it.

You can schedule certain job in background so that in every year or month it will execute automatically.

For eg. if a company code is having 100 plants then each month they have to open a new period. this can be executed in back ground. Similarly year end activities also can be schedule in one job so that it can be executed for several years

There is no external tool to do all these

Thanks for your reply, you are saying that by doing schedule, we can do this month end or year end process. Is schedule manager is used to do this jobs?
