Hi,

I have also faced this peculiar type of situation.

Then I have login the SQL server. For that particular database has got hanged and shows message on the database as "restoring". Once again I have restored the database and it was working.

Pl. restore the database again and It would be solved I hope.

Dear Gaurav,

Thanks for replying. Actually I am restoring database from SQL 2000 To SQL 2005.

But when i am going to log in into the target it will give massage as "wrong user name and passward". I have tried in various ways by taking same passward of both the databases also by changing the passwards of both databases. But still I m stucking up over there. I am unable to find out what is the exact issue? Please help me if u can.

Swapnil,

This is not something known to happen. Firstly make sure you restored the correct database. Also check if the user/password still works on the source database. Check your cap locks.

Also on the SAP login screen, press Refresh and make sure you are trying to connect to the right database.

Which SBO version are you using and which patch?
