Hi All,

I have requirement to send custom parameter from FPM application to SAP transaction CJ20n, where in FPM application if i select specific WBS or PD , transaction Cj20n should get launch for that selected WBS/PD in SAP GUI.

For the above i have configured the settings in LPD_CUST, which is currently launching the transaction successfully , but i am not sure how to pass the parameters to this transaction. Please let me know if any one know the answer.

Thanks in advance,

Avinash

Hi Avinash,

did you try to pass the parameter via parameter mapping in LPD_CUST?

Hi Katja,

I do not have much idea on parameter mapping, and on searching i didn't get any related practical example or content in net, so if you can suggest me some links on this "parameter mapping" which includes content other than just theory, or even if any standard SAP object has implemented this parameter mapping then if you can point me towards that, it would be very helpful for me.

Thanks,

Avinash

Hi Avinash,

There is a section 'Mapping Parameters in a Launchpad' in the report launchpad documentation ( https://help.sap.com/viewer/fc28a6ed67b64b9aa36830296a85e3e7/7.4.18/en-US/c566e6ad9d1640b8a1dcbc390b22c9c1.html, subnode of 'Working with Launchpads at Design time ).

An example could be launchpad EAMS / CM_MAT where a simple navigation to display of material (transaction MM03) is done. The transaction is called via batch input and material number is filled on the start screen.
The difficult part will be to find out if CJ20N can be used in batch input mode at all.

Best regards, Katja
