Unable to transport ABAP Routine in an Infopackage selection

Hi!

We've an ABAP routine implemented on Company Code within an Infopackage selection. However, while we transport the IP to the next system, the routine doesn't reflect in the IP selections. ABAP routine in a IP is an embedded object and not stand alone - as far as I understand. How do we actually transport the IP such that it also carries the ABAP routine when transported to the next system?

Regards,

Bhushan.

    Hi,

Did you try to transport the INFOPACK in the transport request section in RSA1? Else, double click your infopackage then select WRITE TRANSPORT REQUEST under the EDIT tab.

If it didn't resolve your problem, just make your infopackage MODIFIABLE in your QAS and PROD server.

    Regards,

    Loed

    Hi,

There's no exceptional case for infopackages. Your infopackage may be included in an unreleased request in target system. You should release it before the transport or use the overwrite options.
