automatic service order for notification

Hi PMCS gurus,

request pl let us know how to configure auto generation of service order for every notification created thru iw21 or iw51.

is this possible in standard sap or it is customisation?

also required to restrict auto generation of service order with notification type, i dont want to have every notification one service order, need only for selective notification types whenever created.

HI,

In general SAP function is not possible but i have done through User Exit.

hi pm experts,

pl give ur opinion on this whether std sap pm module provides the setting to getting auto generation of order for each notification created & saved.

whether i have to go for enhancement or std sap provides this option.

pl help.

dear by using notification, autogeneration of servoce order is not possible however by using t-code iw51 you can make notification and then click onservice order, you can make service order.

this is nothing but manual service order creation in notification,

i am doing the same at present (thru iw51 & iw 21),

but i am asking different, which is possible thru customising settings, whenever i create notification, release & save the notification (background service order is generated automatically after saving the notification).

pm experts can throw some light on this, whether it is possible with standard pm or not.
