Intracompany Asset Transfer

Hi Sap Gurus,

While making Intracompany Asset Transfer through T Code- ABUMN for legacy data, I am getting the following error message.

Retirement of old assets data not possible (No existing old assets data)

Message no. AA416

Diagnosis

You have tried to post an retirement based on amount, using a transaction type which refers to old assets data (acquisitions from previous years).

However, the sum of the APC at the start of the fiscal year and the transactions, related to the past, equals 0.

Procedure

Check the transaction type entered and the asset.

Please revert if any solution is there for the above problem.

hi,

when you run the transaction ABUMN, in the addtional details tab, change special specif. for transaction, the transfer variant as "1". this variant determines the transaction type running behind the transactin ABUMN.

if you still get the error that means you have to make a customizing.

try again and tell me the result pls.

try transaction type 260 you problem will solve.

Hi,

In transaction code ABUMN, there is no option to choose the Transaction Type. Usually, the system takes the T Types 320, 330, 390 , 395 etc. Again, Again, T type 260 is used against asset sale/retirement against current year acquisition(f-92). My asset is legacy asset.

Is there any other customization which could help ?

Hi i have an issue in asset accounting.when u are execute abst2 t.code for reconciliation account difference with general ledger its showing difference is it what is difference. could u give advice.
