Info structure S115 updation for Early Warning system

Hi,

Using the Early Warning system for PMIS with Info structure S115, it does not show the required Characteristics.

How to update the Info Structure to show other fields like Work Center, Maintenance Plant and Equipment.

Sorry, I cant help.

I never use the PMIS functionality - it is too restrictive and has always suffered from errors/issues.

I tend to create my own reports instead..

Ref to the customized report (own report) that you talked about in your comment. Does it help in the Early Warning System domain?

Also what i understand from your comment is that you have never made a copy of the Info Structure or modified it?

That is correct - I have never made a copies of the Info Structure or modified it.

For me the PMIS is relatively useless. Its unreliable, not user-friendly, out dated, and you can never get back to the underlying transaction (e.g. order, notification, etc).

So I never use PMIS, instead I prefer to write customer-specific ABAPreports.

Hi Pete,

The Note is related to Cost not updated correctly. The cost in my case is appearing in S115 which i tested by running tcode MCI8.

What i did was made a copy of the Structure S115 by following the link below:

All steps were executed successfully. Then i created an Exception with tcode MC=E without issue on new Info structure. But I get error using tcode MC=N that " No Evaluation report for Info Structure S990", thus cannot create a Variant and ultimately cannot schedule the job.

In addition to my last message, just wanted to add that I added new Key Figures and Characteristics in my new Info Structure S990 also after copying from S115.
