Batch dates on month base in EWM

Experts,

in ERP we can create batches with best before, ... on month base (material master period indicator = M). So we create a batch, and set best before to 10.2019.

Now we interface this batch to EWM (with the classification field LOBM_VFDAT), now the batch is 10.10.2019.

This causes confusion and as well problems with the remaining shelf life, ...

Any ideas how to get batch master on month base?

    Hi Michael,

    Please try creating it as batch characteristics for both(Date when batch is produced and expiration date )for the Batch class and class type and then you will be able to CIF it.If your issue is not resolved yet.you can try with the above approach.

    Hi Michael,

    Did you try with Rounding Rule in Material/Product master ( 5End of Month ) ?

    e.g,with the classification field LOBM_VFDAT 10.10.2019-> 31.10.2019

    If you want to display only 10.2019 in characteristics , I think you have to create custom Characteristics with 7-digit and write the formula using Object dependencies.
