Control Recipe creation

Hi,

While creating control recipe I’m getting the errors given below,

No value assigned to characteristic 0010 PPPI_INSTRUCTION in process

instruction 0000 for phase 0020. The control recipes are not created.

No text found for characteristic 0010, order 10000099, phase 0020, operation

0000

I have maintained all the PI instructions in the master recipe.

Please clarify the errors .

Hi

the error is in a process instruction generated for the control recipe destination as Dhaval Choksi says (reason: error message specifies process instruction 0000).

Regarding your issue: "I didn't assign the Process instruction to the phase, so i deleted the phase itself then it'll show the same error to the next phase." >> This is an indication that the process instruction is set to be generated at the start of control recipe. When you delete phase 0010, then it is generated for phase 0020.

You need to check the process instructions of phase 0020 in the process order to find the one failing (go through all Proc Instr starting with 0000). But you need to correct the process instruction in customizing (Define process instructions o12C and/or Maintain control recipe destinations o10c); otherwise you will get the error in the next process order.

Hi,

I have checked all the process instruction in master recipe and also in control recipe, i can't find any process instruction 0000, displayed in the error.

In o10c, i haven't maintain Process Instruction assignment tab, in process instruction to be generated tab i have defined position 01, sequence 1 and instruction INSTR.

Again and again i'm getiting the error same in my question.

Pls help me a solution....

Hi again

please check the process instructions in the process order and find the one failing here first.

The error is related to a generated process instruction and you will not find this one in the master recipe. It is maintained for the control recipe destination in customizing.

When we know the error, we can find a solution.

P.S.: Do you want to work with generated process instructions (based on control recipe destination) at all?

Thanks for your mail. I checked the Process order- process instrutions.

The thing a Process instruction INSTR is generating in the process order which is not defined in the master recipe. I deleted the intstruction again when i click the control recipe creation, again teh process instruction is being generated.

What will the problem, why it is generating automatically,

Hi,

As per massage pop up it seems to be that you have not maiintain valyu for the Characteristic PPPI_INSTRUCTION.

This PPPI_INSTRUCTION is used to get long text.So you have to assgin text as value in Long text.So pls assign the same and simulate the process instruction in Master Recipe itself if there is no syntex error then try in process order which is newly created(after changes made in master Recipe)

Could you pls explain me where to assign text as value to PPPI_Instruction in master recipe or in SPRO.

I have assigned the long text already for the same in master recipe. And also I have simulated the PI sheet, its working, I cheked the PI sheet for errors and there is none.

Please clarify...

Hi,

Just check whether any process instruction (which containes pppi_instruction) has assign at conrtrol recipe destination level or not.Because you had mention that you had already deleted the process instruction in master recipe and still the same error has come.If process instruction has assign at destination(O10C) level then it only works at process order level.If still there is same error comes then,

==> After creation of process order check for syntext error for each destination one by one.If there is no syntext error and at the time of control recipe creation suddenly that error arries that means there is any defult process instruction is asssign to that destination which causes the above error.

so pls check & if still there is any problem then pls send screen shot of that error.

Pl try simulation of PI in mater receipe. It should not give any error, then create a order.

Hi.

T code O10C- generate PI category.e.g.PI_INSTRUCTION OR copy from system.

ASSING this to PI.

Also take PI assistant help in master recipe
