Dear,

Our payroll period is Monthly and our last payroll was November 2017 (11-2017), so the current payroll should be December 2017.

By mistake user has Released and Exit from current month December 2017 payroll period without Executing the payroll for December 2017, and then Released payroll for next period January 2018 and ran payroll for all employees.

In this situation, we are seeking your help and expert advice to proceed further without any glitches now and in-future for following points:

1. How to delete next period January-2018 payroll results for All Employees (as a batch) 2. How to set Payroll Control record back to December 2017

I don't think that there is any solution anymore (there used to be a program but SAP deactivated it since it was too dangerous).

I think you'll have to do the suppression through t-code pu01, one employee at a time.

To set the Payroll Control Record back, use t-code pa03 to look at it. Take note of the "Earliest retro acctg period", and then delete the Control Record. Then, recreate for Period 11-2017, making sure that you enter the same Earliest retro acctg period as before. When you'll validate it, it will be for Period 12-2017. If you've never done it before, always try it out in DEV or QAT before doing it in PRD.
