Inspection plan not getting assigned for lot.

Dear All,

The production lot (04) is generated with CRTD origine, the characteristics are assigned in routing (CA01) with usage 01. but the same is not getting assigned to lot.

To make the status REL using routing is possible?

This can be resolved by making plan in QP01, but I want to confirm whether using rauting the characteristics can be assigned to lot.

Also tryed by making new routing with usage 5, but it is not getting assigned to lot.

Please put some light on the issue.

To answer your question,

No.. the characrteristics in the the routing can not be used for an 04 inspection. You must use an inspection plan, (task list type Q) and put all the characteristics in the the inspection plan. The characteristics in the routing will only be used for 03 inspection origins/types.

Hi, Shekhar,

There would be so many reasons for this,

Wether you tasklist is not valid on the date of lot creation.

The inspection lot usage is not matching with the tasklist

Tasklist status is not released.

Material is not assigend to it

In the inspection set up you might not have ticked the "Insp. with tasklist"

To investigate more brriefly pls let us know are you getting any error?
