Download PDF attachments in excel file

Hi All,

We have come across a requirement where we need to download the excel file in which we have PDF attachments which are placed In a column.

We need to create PReq Document in ME51N with the Excel file data in each row and attach the PDF document(which is in last column of the Excel for each row).

Can anyone help on this.

Hi Pradeep ,

You might be using BDC for achieving the PR creation through Excel , i suggest you to go for BAPI ( BAPI_REQUISITION_CREATE ) and DMS , for making the things easy and also the documents can be attached managed through DMS in these kindly of complex scenario's.

Using BDC or BAPI is secondary. Challenge here is to get the PDF attachment from Excel.

(As I explained in my question PDF is attached in last column of Excel document for each row)
