Is it possible to block the employee completely from C4C

Dear Experts,

In our current project one of the requirement is to block the employee completely, means if I block the employee like Locking the user, Password Lock, validity end date set, remove from Org assignment. After all these steps, while we create an appointment and in the Employee search (like F4 in on-premise) still the blocked employee is appearing. We want to block the employee completely. Even in the Employee search (People WC) still the blocked employee is appearing.

Is there any option to block?

    Hello Murugesan,

    When the Business User is locked/expired it means that this specific user does not have access to login in the SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer system. It does not mean that the master data Employee is obsolete to the system. So even thought the business user that refers to this employee is deactivated, the employee itself is not, so you are able to find it below People -> Employees search, add it as an involved party to a document, etc.

    So may the employee be fully deactivated from the system, you need to maintain an expired validity date to it in Administrator work center -> General Settings view -> Click in "Employees" hyperlink). Below screenshots for further clarification:

    Valid employees appear in People -> Employees:

    Set the "Valid To" in a date of the past (Go to Admistrator work center -> General Settings view -> Open Employees -> Select employee -> Press Edit -> Change the "Valid To" date

    Employee is not available in the system anymore.
