Data extraction from Tandem (HP Nonstop) to SAP HANA DB

I am working in payment gateway company they using ACI Base24 classic and Base24 EPS both are payment gateway solutions runs in Tandem DB (HP Nonstop system)

currently they are generating settlement reports to the from base24 with middle-ware Oracle goldengate to MS SQL.

Now my organization wants to get rid of goldengate and sql instead integrate tandem enscribe directly to SAP Hana DB and generate the reports through BI tools.

I have checked the options of SAP DS and SLT but no luck. It seems that we need to create API interface both in SAP hana and Tandem.

So my question is do anyone experienced this challenge. I was doing bit of research but no blogs or knowledge related to this subject. So you help and assistance is highly appreciated

You definitely don't need any API.

DS supports native database-level connectivity to HANA, it can write straight into any HANA table.

For access to HP Nonstop, use the ODBC/MX client driver.

    Hi Krishna,

There is no proven technology for HP NON Stop Tandem to SAP HANA DB Due to the cost and work around and support issue from SAP DS and Oracle Golden Gate

In the POC for DS and Oracle GGS the data is replicating to Hana DB but unidentified characters are appearing. We have forwarded the files to Oracle and SAP to further investigate but unsuccessful in providing a valid feedback.

So we changed our approach instead of middle ware we were able to succeeded by an agent

The agent is called Prognosis IR agent ( this software is mainly used in payment industry for monitoring and troubleshooting. These software is specifically designed to gather push and pull data and metrics from HP NON STOP Tandem.its a piece of cake.

First we installed prognosis software in Suse linux server where SAP Hana DB is running

Second a dedicated windows server for IR agent and configured HDBODBC in administrative settings. Once the HDBODBC is successful in connecting the SAP HANA DB

Create a Separate user in SAP HANA DB this will create a new schema in hana DB

Step 3 run the IR agent in windows server from settings of IR agent create data flow with a Table name and SAP hana login information (give same user that established the HDBODBC connection) Once the IR agent started

    step 4

goto SAP hana studio expand the schema of the user expand tables you can see the same table name given the IR agent is replicated. You dont have to create additional table in the SAP HANA

Once you refresh the table you can see the growth and size of the table is increasing.
